SAGE Publishing have supported QUT since 2014 in supporting and encouraging high quality publishing by our HDR students through the SAGE HDR Publication Prize Awards.
This year, QUT Centre for Justice member, Madeleine Bennett, won the Indigenous HDR student prize with her recently accepted paper titled, “Any male victim?” The legacy of conflating paedophilia and homosexuality and the differential seriousness of sexual abuse by victim gender” published in Psychiatry, Psychology and Law. This paper was awarded to one Indigenous HDR student across all faculties for an outstanding research output that has been accepted for publication.
