The recently concluded School of Justice unit JSB305 Professional Justice Placement has proven remarkable for the successful outcomes attributed to all of the students involved.
One of the most notable outcomes was achieved by the student Molli Baxter, whose placement with Suncorp concluded with the delivering of a presentation to team leaders across the organisation’s entire Fraud & Intelligence unit. The feedback provided by placement supervisors at Suncorp was that Molli’s engaging and informative presentation was one of the most professional they had seen.
Congratulations to all other JSB305 students, each of whom received glowing endorsements from their supervisors and were highly rated for the work they undertook over the course of the semester: April Tucker; Lilian Sandys; Jerry Morris; Izzey O’Hara; Samantha Button; Hayden Duran; Mekayla Anog; Chelsea Watts; Sky Neale; Amelie Vidgen; Dion Warren; Larissa Gagen; Claire Brind; Phoebe Hill-Douglas.
Placement opportunities for Semester 2 are now open and cover a wide range agencies, including the Queensland Police Service, Department of Justice, Corrections Queensland and the QLD Centre for Domestic & Family Violence Research.
Undertaking a placement is a great way for justice students to gain valuable real-world experience and to strengthen their resumes.
