Media: Graduate Certificate in Domestic Violence Responses

As authorities grapple with the threat of domestic violence, police and researchers want more formal education for the front  line workers dealing with victim survivors. More than 50 women were allegedly murdered by men in 2024, and statistics show 1 in 4 women have experienced violence from their partner since the age of 15. So how do we get that message across to  people who are dealing with this issue up close every day?

QUT Centre for Justice member, Professor Michael Flood has appeared in numerous media outlets discussing the new QUT Graduate Certificate in Domestic Violence Responses, a specialist course designed for frontline workers, policy developers and other professionals who come into contact with domestic violence victims or perpetrators.
