New research from a collaboration between QUT School of Optometry and Vision Science and QUT School of Justice has identified that up to one in three children in a very remote region of Queensland exhibit a vision condition, with many of these previously undetected. These findings highlight the important need for additional resources to be provided to very remote communities for the detection and correction of vision conditions in childhood.
