QUT C4J Fashion Justice Symposium: QUT Sustainability Week

The International Journal of Crime, Justice and Social Democracy recently launched a Special Issue on Fashion Justice.  To celebrate this release, and to coincide with QUT Sustainability Week, QUT Centre for Justice will host a Fashion Justice Symposium.  This symposium will form part of QUT Centre for Waste Free World Day on Research for a Sustainable and Just Future.

In this special issue the contributors examine multiple perspectives on the numerous injustices experienced in the ways garments are produced, consumed and disposed of within the globalised fashion system

Come along to listen to the authors speak about their research, followed by Q&A and discussion.

Presenters include:

Guest Editors Rowena McGuire and Alice Payne

Guest Editorial Contributor: Amanda Kennedy

Contributors:

The symposium will be held on Tuesday 23 August 2022 from 2.45pm to 4.30pm with drinks and canapes to follow afterwards.  The symposium will be offered both in-person and on-line.
