Queensland Disability Action Week runs from 13-19 September and this year’s theme is “Access-ability – making things better for everyone”
As part of the week Dr Janice Rieger, member of QUT C4J and Senior Lecturer, Creative Industries discusses Universal and Building Design and its importance in creating more liveable and accessible communities. Janice talks with paralympian Karni Liddell to explore what accessibility means, the need to involve people with a disability in co-design and how we can make our homes and communities more accessible.
