Dr Cassandra Cross Presents at TEDxQUT – Video Now Available Online

Earlier this year, CJRC researcher and senior lecturer Dr Cassandra Cross from the School of Justice, Faculty of Law, presented at the 2017 TEDxQUT event held at QUT Gardens Point campus.

TED is a nonprofit organisation devoted to Ideas Worth Spreading. Started as a four-day conference in California 26 years ago, TED has grown to support those world-changing ideas with multiple initiatives.

In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organised events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organised events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organised TED event.

Dr Cross’ presentation at TEDxQUT 2017 focused on the experiences and impacts of online fraud victimisation. To watch the full presentation, click here.
