Researchers from the Crime and Justice Research Centre are headed to the European Society of Criminology Conference in Porto, Portugal 2-5 September, 2015. They will present a range of individual and collaborative work.
Professor Kerry Carrington will present Southern Criminology and Global Justice, part of a collaborative project on Southern Criminology with Professor Russell Hogg and Adjunct Professor Máximo Sozzo.
Associate Professor Molly Dragiewicz will present Q & A: The Gender Politics of Social Media Discussions of Domestic Violence in Australia, based on an article co-authored with Professor Jean Burgess, Director of QUT’s Digital Media Research Center.
Dr. Kelly Richards will present A Critical Examination of the Rise and Rise of the Discourse of Offender “Accountability”.
Professor Reece Walters and Adjunct Professor Nigel South will present Food Crime, Water Crime, and Environmental Justice.
Adjunct Professor Patricia Faraldo Cabana will present On Fines: Rusche and Kirchheimer Revisited.
