The Faculty of Law has four ECARD vacancies for 2016 in the discipline areas of:
- Criminology and policing
- Intellectual property and innovation law
- Indigenous legal issues
- Ethics, professional responsibility, civil procedure and/or evidence.

QUT’s Early Career Academic Recruitment and Development (ECARD) Program has been designed to provide newly appointed staff with an excellent platform from which to build their academic careers. The ECARD program is developed and facilitated by experts from across the University and offers a comprehensive suite of activities aimed at developing participants’ skills, knowledge and abilities to help ensure their career success.
The ECARD Program aims to enhance understanding of academic life at QUT in order to accelerate the contribution of early career academics in their teaching, research and service. For the ECARD participant it provides a broad foundation of knowledge about QUT’s research and teaching activities and expectations, as well as the opportunity to develop strong networking and collaborative relationships across the university.
