The Early Career Academic Recruitment & Development (ECARD) Program is a QUT initiative designed to accelerate the professional development and cultural integration of recently recruited early career academics.
The ECARD Program aims to enhance understanding of academic life at QUT in order to accelerate the contribution of early career academics in their teaching, research and service. For the ECARD participant it provides a broad foundation of knowledge about QUT’s research and teaching activities and expectations, as well as the opportunity to develop strong networking and collaborative relationships across the university.
The Faculty of Law currently has four ECARD vacancies in the discipline areas of:
- Criminology and policing
- Intellectual property and innovation law
- Indigenous legal issues
- Ethics, professional responsibility, civil procedure and/or evidence.
