The Contribution of Educator Wellbeing to Achieving Student Success
2023 Special Issue Editors: Associate Professor Deanna Grant-Smith and Dr Melinda Laundon
The impact of educator wellbeing on student success is emerging as a critical area requiring more research and is the focus of the 2023 special issue of the Student Success Journal.
Student wellbeing as an important contributor to success has been explored across multiple dimensions including emotional wellbeing, financial wellbeing, psychological wellbeing and distress and in relation to transitions into higher education. Guest editors Deanna Grant-Smith and Melinda Laundon (QUT Centre for Decent Work & Industry) welcome submissions that explore issues of educator wellbeing from the perspective of educators, students and/or administrators.

The Student Success Journal (SSJ) is an international, open-access, peer-reviewed, scholarly publication exploring the experiences of students in higher education. The Journal provides the opportunity to disseminate current research and innovative good practice about students’ tertiary learning experiences, which are supported by evidence. https://studentsuccessjournal.org/ The Journal publishes three issues per year, has no APCs and uses Creative Commons to licence articles – making teaching and learning research accessible to all.
