Professor Kerry Carrington has just been announced in the line-up for the Sydney Opera House flagship talks festival, “All About Women!” taking place on March 6, 2016, where she will discuss issues surrounding Women and Violence

About the Festival

All About Women festival returns to the Sydney Opera House on March 6 as a prelude to International Women’s Day. With an explosive day of talks and panel discussions, we celebrate stories and ideas from the front line of the fight for equality and we want you to bring yours along!

The stories of women today have moved beyond the clichés trapped at home or scrambling up the corporate ladder, wearing a power suit. The world is more complex, women have been able to change.

This year’s program brings together a line-up of sharp, outspoken, and observant storytellers including Miranda July, Tara Moss, Rosie Waterland, Mallory Ortberg, and Annie-Marie Slaughter, who will bring a new twist to the magic question – can woman have it all? They will tackle some of the issues that cause sleepless nights. The search for a purpose , the true crime and our secret lives.
