ACPNS Founding Director, Prof Myles McGregor-Lowndes, has this month been reappointed to the ATO Not-for-profit Stewardship Group.
The Not-for-profit Stewardship Group, founded by the Australian Tax Office (ATO), is charged with fostering strategic discussions about the major issues impacting nonprofit organisations and their representatives. Prof McGregor-Lowndes will again represent QUT and will have the opportunity to engage with senior ATO leaders with the goal of improving nonprofits’ experience in the tax and super systems. The group’s key focus areas include making it easier for nonprofit organisations to access the concessions to which they are entitled; gaining insights into current issues facing nonprofits; and increasing communication between the ATO and the nonprofit community.
