The Community Collection for Grant Seekers, Fundraisers and Philanthropists continues to generate much interest in the nonprofit sector. There was another full session at this morning’s free tutorial.
This unique collection boasts access to high-quality resources and expertise for grant seekers and fundraisers, enabling them to attract and sustain support for their organisations. The collection includes free access to The Foundation Directory Online, the world’s leading grant seeking database. This database provides access to nearly 100,000 foundations, corporate donors and grantmaking public charities, with the ability to find and map grants from US grantmakers to non-US recipients on interactive maps. The collection also gives users access to a range of other resources relevant to grant seekers, fundraisers and philanthropists in Australia, including the Philanthropy Australia database and a core collection of QUT directories and publications.
ACPNS in conjunction with Strategic Grants, have been offering free tutorials on how to use The Foundation Directory Online since 2009. So far we have hosted nearly 30 free tutorials attended by nearly 600 individuals.
To find out more about this valuable collection or to register for the next tutorial scheduled for Friday 5 August 2016, please email acpns@qut.edu.au.
We thank Kate Sunners of Strategic Grants for being this morning’s tutorial facilitator.
