JUNE Tea & Buns | VACCINES: Helping others make informed choices

24 June | Australia’s COVID vaccine rollout is underway. How can you help staff and service users to make informed choices?

Dr Ruth Knight will be chatting with Dr Natasha (Tash) Yates about:

  • what an informed decision is
  • the role of influencers, support workers and G.P.s
  • supporting a decision when you might disagree.

Ruth is asking Tash to explain these issues in a way we can all understand, and you will have a chance to ask your questions as well.

Natasha is a practicing GP so she has her fingers on the pulse of what matters to her community, and helping people make informed decisions is something she faces every day. She teaches General Practice, clinical reasoning and critical thinking at Bond University and also enjoys writing to translate medical knowledge into everyday language for her own patients and the community. You can see her articles in The ConversationTo raise funds to support child literacy in Mozambique, she has also authored a children’s book ‘Rina’s Story‘ which is currently a finalist in the American Book Excellence Awards 2021.

Please join Ruth and Tash for June’s Tea and Buns Community of Practice.
