Dream job: A freelance writer who’s witty enough to earn sufficient “fun money” from the sentences I spin – in multiple languages – to sustain a luxurious, globetrotting lifestyle. Whilst my personal investment portfolio on the side creates a mountain of wealth so I never again have to worry about how much a pair of shoes costs. Oh, but alas, I only speak English (on my way to mastering French!) and don’t have any investments (yet!).

What’s the one thing that sets you apart from other students: I don’t have a Thyroid Gland. At all. Never got one.

Which TV character best matches your personality: Summer – The O.C. – I’m a petite, feisty gal just like her. But I’d really like to be Carrie – Sex & the City – if only for the shoe collection!

Your favourite three books: Only three? How can you play favourites when there are so many different genres, let alone writers! I’ll tell you three of the ten that I’m currently reading: A Literate Passion, Anaïs Nin & Henry Miller; On the Road, Jack Kerouac; and Superfreakonomics, Steven Levitt & Stephen Dubner.

Your favourite three movies: again, tough question. My fave from way back would have to be Empire Records; ultimate chick flick goes to The Notebook; current obsession: The Hangover – “you guys ready to let the dogs out?” classic.

Describe your music tastes: Rock, punk, metal, alternative, indie… and the odd guilty-pleasure-sing-your-out-of-tune-heart-out number, like Mariah Carey ‘Always be my Baby’ – hush, don’t judge.

What do you do in your free time: savour it – free time is a rare commodity these days. I do like to go to gigs and festivals when I can afford it, catch up with friends, read books, and plan my next adventure!

You can invite five people (dead, alive or fictional) to dinner – who would they be: Bill Bryson, The grandmother I never got to meet, Kate Moss, Richard Branson, Davey Havok.

What makes you happy: fun, frivolity and frolicking with friends and family

If you could choose one super power – what would it be: the ability to read people’s minds

What is your favourite place on earth: J’adore Paris!

What would be your last meal: The buffet at Versace Hotel on the Gold Coast – I would stuff myself full to the brim because it wouldn’t matter how uncomfortable I felt afterwards if it was my last meal, right?

What do you want to be when you grow up: I still don’t know and I think I’m considered grown up now.

If your mates could sum you up in three words – they would be: Creative, driven and vivacious

What is your most treasured possession: my macbook – because it holds all my music, photos and documents that I still (stupidly) haven’t backed up.
