Age: 19

Course: Bachelor of Laws/ Bachelor of Behavioural Science (Psychology).

Year of progress in course: Second year.

Dream job: Hopefully outlasting the two-year burnout rate for new lawyers.

What’s one thing that sets you apart from other students: I seem to be able to agonise over cutting those last ten words from my assignments more than anyone else I know.

Which TV character best matches your personality: Bernard Black from Black Books. Minus the eternal drunkenness his sunny demeanour and love of books, customers and life in general has inspired many of the cynical views I host today.

Your favourite three books: The Artemis Fowl series since its inception. More than three, I know, but that can’t be helped.

Your favourite three TV shows: Black Books, Heroes and the Big Bang Theory.

Describe your music tastes: Modern music makes me cringe.

What do you do in your free time: At the moment, I’m picking up German where I left off in high school. I also like to attempt to polish my cooking skills (or absence thereof), watch nineties TV shows and find time to read a novel.

You can invite 5 people to dinner, who would they be: My family. No-one wants to talk with their mouth full around company.

If you could choose one super power- what would it be: Empathy, the ability to assume the strengths of others like Peter Petrelli in Heroes!

What makes you happy: My soft new mattress, my ticket to a good night sleep.

What is your favourite place on Earth: That quiet place in your mind where you can be wherever you want to be.

What would be your last meal: Lots of mud cake! And preferably an iced chocolate to match.

What do you want to be when you grow up: Thirty, not flirty, but thriving?

If your mates could sum you up in three words they would probably be: Stressy Perfectionist Machine!

What is your most treasured possession: The dear hope I hold that one day I will be able to finally have a pet King Charles Cavalier Spaniel.

What blogs do you follow: This one, starting now?
