We Need to Make a Move

I used to believe in fate, maybe even destiny,

But it was lost among inspiration,

Lost amongst generational strength.

.

The natural divides, connected by virtual bridges,

That panoramic view, so high, the world is endless,

The view clouds reality.

.

The grass is so rich, so green, so liberal,

Things can only get better from here,

We can only go higher.

.

The sun follows us, eclipsing those who stay still,

Don’t let darkness encompass your life,

We need to make a move.

.

We’re dancing, and singing, it’s a foreign sound,

This oneness we desire, look beyond the sun,

Change doesn’t burn.

.

I used to believe in fate, maybe even destiny,

But it was lost among inspiration,

Lost amongst generational strength.

.

We used to ask questions, seeking just answers.

Salvation is a virtue, yet the world keeps turning,

The moon outshines.

.

We don’t want to live in the dark,

Your world becomes a mushroom,

We will continue to shine brighter.

.

I used to believe in fate, maybe even destiny,

But it was lost among inspiration,

Lost amongst generational strength.

.

I now believe in change.

Thanks Nikki, I appreciate it. Do you like writing? Or do you have a blog I can follow?

This poem is about young people in general. I was inspired to write this after attending a conference all week with many inspirational young people. like ourselves right?
