Time to publish?

Thinking about publishing a paper or scholarly item?  QUT Library has a huge number of resources available to help QMomentum members get that article written!

Writing tips for Early Career Researchers is a collection of interviews with five QUT researchers who share their wisdom and experiences on scholarly writing.  In just three minutes (and nine seconds) Professor Jonathan Roberts, Professor Robert Schweitzer, Dr Shane Matthews, Professor Michael Collins and Associate Professor Kirsten Spann give their top tips on how to get organised for effective writing.

Assorted Writing Tips is a snappy collection of tips on how to get the most out of your writing that is sure to get you in the mood for writing plus get your feet tapping.  QUT’s Office of Research Ethics and Integrity (OREI) gathered these tips as part of the Authorship and Publication series

Now is a good time to revisit Advanced Information Research Skills (AIRS: IFN001).  It is likely that you undertook AIRS at the beginning of your research degree, but the resources will still be relevant.  Module 10, Publish, provides a host of material on selecting what and where to publish, authorship, copyright and intellectual property, and a brief guide to the process of academic journal publishing and how to make use of social media.

Don’t forget to follow @qutlibrary on Twitter for tips and news on support for your research activities and check the QUT Library Researchers webpage for more information that can support your research activities.
