There is a popular misconception that things are easier in NFP world than the corporate sector. It’s a positive environment, people are doing “good” things, and there aren’t too many performance pressures. Maybe it’s the “Not for Profit” tag that leads to that position.

Dr Peter Anderson has extensive experience in leadership within the education sector (secondary and tertiary education) health (tertiary education and NFP) professional (Public Health Association of Australia) and community organisations. He’s committed to making a difference with the people and teams that he works with as well as the broader community. Peter’s recent roles have been leading Asthma Foundation Queensland in preparation for a merger, successfully implementing that transition and preparing Asthma Foundation Queensland and New South Wales for a national merger, and leading Open Minds Australia through the transition from government block funding to the NDIS funding model with associated business demands.
