Research Data Science Winter School – Brisbane

The Australian Academy of Science, in association with Software Carpentry, CODATA and RDA, would like to invite EMCRs from various disciplines to apply to participate in the Research Data Science Winter School in Brisbane on 12-15 June 2018.

The winter school is aimed at EMCRs who already have experience collecting and analysing data, but are looking to take their data skills to the next level and become more effective using data for their research.

The Falling Walls Foundation is a non-profit organisation in Berlin, dedicated to the support of science and the humanities. It was established in 2009, 20 years after the fall of the Berlin Wall. At its heart is the question ‘Which are the next walls to fall?’ as a result of scientific, technological, economic and sociological breakthroughs.
