The new Quick Find is ready for you to start searching

There is a new and improved Quick Find search available for you to search for articles and books, as well as items located in the Library. Check out some of the new features and improvements. See what has changed:

  • Request PDF scans of hardcopy material of articles and chapters
  • New look My loans and holds: So user friendly!
  • New filters: Limit to hardcopy books
  • My Favourites: Permanently save your favourite books, articles and searches.
  • Find related articles: Enhanced to include cited and citing articles
  • New Browse items search: By subject, title or author
  • New Find a journal search: Browse to the online volume, issue and article.

The need to observe the rights and obligations of copyright continues beyond QUT.

Beyond the vast array of books and journals that QUT offers, there are many “open’ resources available on the internet. Resources with broad re-use rights are licensed using Creative Commons (CC)  licences. That means they are openly available on the internet- not behind paywalls; and free to re-use.
