The Faculty of Education held another successful Research and Publications Week on 2nd – 5th July which featured engaging sessions on research design and analysis, academic writing and publishing.
Research and Publications Week is one of a number of events held as part of the Faculty of Education’s Research Development and Training Framework. Many RDTF sessions are open to researchers past and current, and attending can be a great way of connecting with the Faculty, networking with other researchers and continuing your learning after graduation.
Recordings, PowerPoints and other resources from RDTF sessions can be accessed by anyone with a QUT log-in and password on the OER Research Development and Training Framework Blackboard Community page. If you’re planning to continue researching and publishing from your thesis, consider nominating as visiting fellow to obtain access to these and other QUT resources.
This year’s Research and Publications week comprised a mix of short presentations, panel discussions, hands-on workshops, and some wonderful self-care sessions run by Student Counselling during the lunch breaks. The Celebration of Education Research event on the 2nd July also recognised and rewarded the outstanding research achievements of staff and research students.
The Research Development and Training Framework (RDTF) also includes our monthly SPARK Seminar series co-hosted by two of our research groups and our Methodological Conversations series which features an exploration of a research method or approach by an expert researcher, followed by a scholarly discussion.
