The Books Swap Continues…

If you haven’t had a chance to make use of the book swap, there is still time to check it out! There is a good range of books, with more being added all the time.

The book swap is located under the notice board in the foyer of the library at Caboolture. To get involved just bring in your pre-loved books and exchange them for something you have never read before.  Find a new favourite author or topic, save money and enjoy the read.

All recreational reading books in fair condition will be accepted. (No old textbooks please!)

What’s Your Favourite Book?

To celebrate the National Year of Reading, QUT Library at Caboolture is giving you the opportunity to win a $20 QUT Bookshop voucher!

To go in the draw, all you have to do is comment on this post, telling us what your favourite book is, and why it’s your favourite.  The competition closes Midnight on Friday the 3rd of August.  Winners will be announced on this blog on Monday 6th of August.  We have four vouchers to give away, so get writing!

Don’t forget the book swap currently running in the library; there are some great titles to choose from.  Feel free to swap any book you no longer want (except old textbooks) for any of the books on the display.  It’s that simple and it’s free!

Book Swap in the Library

Reading is a big part of university study, and as we head into second semester, I’m sure you’re planning on doing a lot of reading over the next few months.  However, reading doesn’t have to be just about study, it can be fun, too!

In celebration of the National Year of Reading, QUT Library is rediscovering the magic of books with its 2012 book swap!

The book swap will start on 23 July and continue through the first two weeks of semester. To get involved just bring in your pre-loved books and exchange them for something you have never read before.  Find a new favourite author or topic, save money and enjoy the read.  The books will be displayed near the Learning and Research desk in the library.

All recreational reading books in fair condition will be accepted. (No old textbooks please!)
