Welcome to Semester Two from QUT Library

Welcome to our new students joining us for the first time and welcome back to our returning students.

QUT Libraries (Gardens Point, Kelvin Grove and Law) are safe and inclusive spaces where everyone is welcome. There are different types of study spaces available in each library; silent, group, outdoor (KG Level 5), bookable rooms, with a computer, with a power point to charge your own device.

There are also spaces to relax. Try out the GamesLab at Kelvin Grove Library, challenge your friends to a game or chess at the Law Library or get those endorphins pumping with a game of ping pong at Gardens Point or Kelvin Grove libraries.

We have workshops on the basics of using the Library, Finding information for assignments, Referencing essentials and APA referencing. Find more details and register here.

Higher Degree Research Students, you have the AIRS Workshops as well as other researcher training opportunities run by the Library and other departments across the university.

Still need help with something library related? Check out our Need help? page for ways to connect with us or find an answer to your question. Our opening hours for each of the libraries are listed here.
