QUT School of Law Lecturer Dr Samuel Roach is one of six QUT educators in the fields of health, law and creative industries awarded a citation for his outstanding contribution to student learning at the recently held 2024 Australian Awards for University Teaching (AAUT) ceremony.
The annual awards celebrate the exceptional contributions of educators who have demonstrated excellence in teaching, leadership, and enhancing the student experience across higher education in Australia.
Citations recognise and reward the diversity of contributions made by individuals and teams to the quality of student learning in a specific area of responsibility over a sustained period.
Dr Roach received his citation for facilitating equitable access to work-integrated learning for law, business, justice and criminology students by systematically dismantling barriers.
