Professor Sheil welcomed HE Mr Manpreet Vohra, High Commissioner for India in Australia and the Honorary Consul for India in Queensland, Mrs Archana Singh, to QUT on Tuesday, 20 July 2021. During the visit, the High Commissioner and Honorary Consul enjoyed a tour of The Cube before joining Professor Sheil for discussion around collaborations between India and QUT focussing on research into the future and the impacts of COVID-19 on international education. This visit resonates with QUT’s strong connection with India and is a continuation of previous visits by high profile dignitaries including the Prime Minister of India. Professor Sheil was joined by colleagues Professor Scott Sheppard, Deputy Vice-Chancellor and Vice President (International) and Professor Sagadevan Mundree, Director, Centre for Agriculture and the Bioeconomy.
