International high-school students from across Queensland came together to participate in a 3-day Hack-a-bot held at QUT Gardens Point campus. In partnership with Junior Engineers, Suncorp and QUT Entrepreneurship, the QUT STEM International team offered an exciting 3-day hands-on workshop where students learned design-led thinking to engineer a solution using Arduinos.
Students developed coding skills using modern software languages and built a device applying key principles in robotics and programming. Using problem-solving techniques and design theories, the students developed solutions to hypothetical technology problems.
