Over the years, QUT Homestay program has provided many opportunities for international students to stay with Australian host families. Due to the current environment and changing landscape of accommodation offerings available, we regret to advise that the QUT Homestay Office will close permanently as of 1st December 2020. Any questions can be directed to the QUT Accommodation Office on +61 7 3138 2019 or email accommodation@qut.edu.au after that date.
Under 18 students
We will continue to support all current Under 18 students staying with a QUT approved homestay family until they turn 18 years old. If possible, they can continue to stay with the homestay family after that through their own private arrangements.
We will be providing alternative options for Under 18 students who are planning to arrive in Brisbane in the upcoming months very soon.
