Duolingo – approved English proficiency test

The Duolingo English Test has been approved to meet English language requirements for entry to English language courses and academic preparatory courses offered by the QUT International College. This is a timebound measure recognising that students are impacted by the limited accessibility to testing centres and therefore QUT will accept the Duolingo English Test for admission into 2020 intakes and intakes commencing up to 31st March 2021. Where applicants receive an offer for entry into QUT based on their Duolingo English Test score for an approved intake and subsequently request a deferral for any intake beyond 31st March 2021, students will be required to submit a new QUT approved English language test (IELTS, PTE or TOEFL).
