International Admissions: Application and Acceptance Closing Dates (September – December 2019)

  1. Onshore applicants are those already in Australia. The on-time application closing date for this cohort is 2 weeks prior to class commencement and the on-time acceptance closing date is 1 week prior to class commencement. Complete applications and acceptances received prior to the closing date will be processed in time for the intake. Late applications and acceptances may continue to be processed if it is possible to do so.
  2. Offshore applicants are those that will need to submit a new Australian student visa application from offshore. The on-time application closing date for this cohort is 4 weeks prior to class commencement and the on-time acceptance closing date is 2 weeks prior to class commencement. Complete applications and acceptances received prior to the closing date will be processed in time for the intake. Late applications and acceptances may continue to be processed if it is possible to do so.
  3. Students must arrive and commence classes by 8:30am on the Last Date for Arrival (onshore/offshore). Orientation is compulsory. The Last Date for Arrival will be the first day of classes except where otherwise stated below. Requests for commencement after the Last Date for Arrival will only be considered in exceptional circumstances and require approval from the Manager of Admissions in consultation with Faculty/QUTIC.
  4. Any student approved to start after the first day of classes must have an Approved ESOS Late Start Date recorded in SAMS.

2019 Summer QUTIC Progression Dates

  • EAP Entry Test Results (for 12TP3 2019 commencement) submitted to SBS 9/10/19
  • EAP Results (from 12TP2 2019) submitted to SBS 4/10/2019 (Results released to students 8/10/2019)
  • Foundation Results (from 13TP2 2019) submitted to SBS 09/10/19 (Results released to students 09/10/19)
  • Diploma Results (from 13TP2 2019) submitted to SBS 11/10/19 (Results released to students 11/10/19)
  • UCTP Results (from 13TP2 2019) submitted to SBS 31/10/19 (Results released to students 31/10/19) Degree/Grad Certificate Results (from Sem 2, 2019) results published and available between 27th Nov – 29th Nov (depending on Faculty).
