QUT International College is committed to ensuring our programs are relevant, current and provide students with a high quality learning experience and the best possible preparation for university. As part of the course quality assurance process, QUT International College has recently reviewed the Foundation programs. The College is pleased to announce the introduction of a new one semester QC07 Intensive Program, as well as improvements to QC08 Standard Foundation (formerly QC02) and QC09 Extended Foundation (formerly QC04). All programs will commence in semester one 2019.
The new Foundation programs provide a greater depth of study and offer a seamless transition to the first year of a QUT Bachelor degree. Core study units within the programs have been refreshed and new study units have been introduced, including Digital Studies, which focuses on the digital world and the impact of new technologies on society.
The new QC07 Intensive Program is a pathway for students, who have completed high school (Year 12 or equivalent) and have almost met the academic and/or English requirements. This program can be completed in four months, and students who successfully meet progression requirements will be guaranteed a place in the first year of their chosen Bachelor degree.
