From 2016 QUT will offer a new Bachelor of Pharmacy (Honours) (CS47), which will replace the Bachelor of Pharmacy (CS45). The Bachelor of Pharmacy (Honours) (CS47) is a higher level qualification than a bachelor degree. It will prepare students for all aspects of the pharmacy profession, provide more than 500 hours of placement in a wide range of health care settings, and provide a strong foundation in research. All international applicants with offers for the Bachelor of Pharmacy (CS45) will have their offer rescinded and will be issued an offer for the new course, Bachelor of Pharmacy (Honours) (CS47). This includes applicants with accepted offers, and applicants with unaccepted offers. Because the new course is significantly different from the old course, it may not be possible to award the full amount of advanced standing previously granted. Applicants with offers for the old course that included advanced standing will have their advanced standing reassessed against the new course, Bachelor of Pharmacy (Honours) (CS47).
