New technology partnership between QUT and Fujitsu

Australia’s leading multinational information technology company Fujitsu, has formed a partnership with QUT to develop a Customer Relationship Management system (CRM) to improve organisation’s customer relations. Fujitsu has also agreed to offer 10 scholarships to QUT undergraduate students studying the CRM course at QUT.

Associate Professor Darshana Sedera, from QUT’s Science and Engineering Faculty, said the subject would be offered to final year undergraduate IT students.

“The subject has been jointly designed by experts from Fujitsu and QUT so we can be confident our students will be learning the latest skills required by industry”, he said.

“Students who complete this course will have a great chance to forge careers in this rapidly-growing technology segment.”

CRM systems are widely used among businesses today for  loyalty programs, personalised emails and many other areas. Students undertaking this course will enhance their job prospects in this very competitive field.

The first CRM Systems course was delivered in 2014 and it will be offered in semesters one and two this year.
