The Faculty of Health’s new and unique Anatomage Tables display life-size 3D images of the human body on a screen that resembles an operating table or hospital bed.
Using the touch screen sensor, health students can explore the human anatomy by rotating the body and cutting at any location to reveal different anatomical planes and details of the internal organs. The technology is so advanced that fine details such as nerves and blood vessels can be viewed. It can also display 4D scans, and X-ray, CT, and MRI formats.
