After completing the Australia Awards Short course on VET Quality Assurance, our team of two IPU-QUT alumni, Nguyen Thi Hoc and Truong Thi Thanh Thuy, implemented the project “Amending the Regulations for Assessing Students’ Learning Outcomes” in order to improve the quality assurance of Hanoi Industry of Vocational College (HNIVC). Thanks to QMC software, the project has been conducted completely online. The amended version can be found in the software ldt.hiec.edu.vn or on the HNIVC’s website https://www.hnivc.edu.vn/. The amended regulations for assessing students’ learning outcomes consulted HNIVC key staff including the board of directors, dean and deputy dean of faculties. It was approved and went into operation on November 2020 to evaluate thousands of HNIVC students. The revised regulations have contributed to better control of the assessment of students’ learning outcomes towards objectivity, openness and transparency; increase reputation of HNIVC; as well as to improve training quality in vocational education.
