Inclusion Begins at Home

By Tikaram Sapkota, Nepal

My name is Tikaram Sapkota. QUT made me realize that inclusion is the most important part of overall social development. Inclusive society is today’s need. Apart from the mainstream academic education, providing opportunities to international students to participate in various non-credit courses is really useful. I have shared my gained skills to the leaders of disabled persons organisations at my locality. But this to me is the most important impact: I can now take my 21 year-old daughter with Down Syndrome out in social functions.
