Let\u2019s be honest<\/strong>, there\u2019s more<\/strong> than just 10 great things<\/strong> about Bishop\u2019s<\/strong>. I could rave about this place all day. But instead I\u2019m keeping it brief and bringing you 10 things I\u2019ve enjoyed<\/strong> about going to school here!<\/p>\n

  1. Small School Size<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    You see familiar faces<\/strong> everywhere you go and are always bumping into friends<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

      \n
    1. Residence<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

      You can choose to live off campus<\/strong> in one of the many nearby houses<\/strong> and apartments <\/strong>or on campus<\/strong> in one of the residence buildings<\/strong>. There are lots of great options to make you feel right at home<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

      1. Dining Hall<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

        It\u2019s been declared the 2nd best in the country<\/strong> and it\u2019s easy to see why. With an ever-changing menu<\/strong>, made-to-order<\/strong> omelette, cr\u00eape, stir-fry, pasta and grill stations, long opening hours<\/strong> and plenty of space to eat with friends<\/strong> or catch up on some television<\/strong> on the projector screen.<\/p>\n

        1. Sport<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

          There\u2019s something on every weekend<\/strong> from football, basketball, lacrosse, hockey, soccer or rugby. The atmosphere<\/strong> at these games is incredible. There are varsity<\/strong> and club<\/strong> teams meaning everyone gets a chance to play.<\/p>\n

          1. Classes<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

            They\u2019re engaging and taught by professors<\/strong> who know you by name<\/strong> and are always up for a chat.<\/p>\n

            1. Clubs<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

              From the Environmental Club, Investment Club, Social Justice Collective or Bowling Club, there\u2019s something for everyone<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

              1. The Gait<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

                The campus bar hosts Happy Hour<\/strong> every Thursday and Gait Night<\/strong> every Saturday with free entry, drink specials, DJs and live bands, and themed events.<\/p>\n

                1. The Plex<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

                  There\u2019s a lot to do in one place<\/strong>. This building has a gym, study area, pool, ice skating rink, basketball courts, combat room, dance studio, health clinic and caf\u00e9, all available for student use<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

                  1. Diversity<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

                    The university is made up of 2300 students<\/strong> of all sorts of different nationalities, races, sexualities and genders<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

                    1. Location<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

                      Small town<\/strong> life is great. You can walk<\/strong> to everything you need, no cars needed<\/strong>. There\u2019s a supermarket, service station, pharmacies, banks, restaurants, various shops (liquor store, bookstore, dollarstore) and the local pub. And for when you\u2019re feeling that city<\/strong> life, Montr\u00e9al<\/strong> is a bus ride away.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
