Sheffield Hallam University is\u00a0based in Sheffield; a city in which one in every ten residents is a student.\u00a0With such a\u00a0large amount of students in its populous, Sheffield\u00a0has\u00a0developed with its\u00a0students in mind \u2013\u00a0it’s safe, green, cheap, independent and\u00a0lively!<\/p>\n

\u2026WHICH BOASTS A VIBRANT STUDENT-FRIENDLY NIGHTLIFE <\/strong><\/p>\n

To cater to such a large student population, Sheffield has established a diverse, student-safe nightlife. Pubs, clubs, restaurants and cinemas offer discounts to anyone wielding a student card and student nights are held during the week, to avoid the weekend rush. Talk about convenience!<\/p>\n

IT\u2019S IN A STRATEGIC SWEET SPOT<\/strong><\/p>\n

Sheffield is at the midway point between London (England\u2019s capital city) and Edinburgh (Scotland\u2019s capital city), making it the perfect place to\u00a0study at if you want to explore the UK.<\/p>\n

IT FEATURES MOST FORMS OF NATIONAL AND INTERANTIONAL TRAVEL<\/strong><\/p>\n

Sheffield links into national motorways, national and local bus lines, inland waterway services and local cycling routes.\u00a0It also boasts several major railway routes via the Sheffield railway station \u2013 perfect for those fleeting weekend getaways. Don\u2019t get me wrong, those are some cold temperatures \u2013 but it\u2019s not the wear-ten-pairs-of-socks kind of cold. Plus, the small variance in temperatures between the seasons ensures the transition from summer to winter\u00a0(and back again) isn\u2019t\u00a0too much of an unsettling experience.<\/p>\n

ITS PRIVATE ACCOMADATION IS CHEAP<\/strong><\/p>\n

The average rent for a one-bedroom apartment or complex in Sheffield is around \u00a3130 per week. This is a lot cheaper than the average rent for a one-bedroom apartment in the UK, which sits at around \u00a3185 per week. However, it\u2019s still a fair amount, especially considering the conversion rate from dollars to pounds. The good news is Sheffield Hallam University has a solution for this \u2013 student accommodation!<\/p>\n
