Semester 2, 2024<\/h4>\n

Bachelor of Business \/ Bachelor of Laws (Honours)<\/h4>\n

I completed my Exchange in the 2nd<\/sup> Semester of 2024 at Trinity College Dublin, Ireland. As most people are, I was nervous and a bit apprehensive before I left Australia, however, I knew right away when I arrived I had made the right decision. Going on exchange allowed me to broaden my horizons, make amazing friends from around the world and experience life in another country. Whilst making friends was difficult at first, through joining sport clubs and societies, I felt I could integrate into the university, not just as an exchange student but as a Trinity College student. I found that while it can be daunting putting yourself out there time and time again, the rewards are well worth it and I now have friends I will cherish for life. The photo shows me competing for Trinity College for Ultimate Frisbee which I never considered playing but was so much fun and allowed me to make so many friends.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

While I was in Dublin, I travelled around Ireland and around Europe whenever I had the opportunity, but I also made sure I saw as much of Dublin as possible. Trinity College is from the 1500\u2019s, so every time I went into university I felt like I was entering another world.<\/p>\n

As the photo shows, the campus was absolutely beautiful, and I was lucky enough to see the Christmas Tree Lighting with my friends .<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

If I had one piece of advice for people going on exchange, I\u2019d say (firstly, great choice, and secondly,) you won\u2019t remember the moments you were scared or uncomfortable, you\u2019ll remember the moments that came from overcoming that. Honestly, I have a million stories to tell about my time overseas and I cannot recommend it enough to every university student!<\/p>\n
