Bachelor of Games and Interactive Environments<\/h4>\n

\"\"<\/a>\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

My exchange to Bath Spa University was certainly an interesting one. I made new lifelong friends, industry connections and inspiring partnerships that will persevere throughout my personal and professional life. I\u2019m glad to have been given the opportunity to experience new cultures throughout my study, but I\u2019m incredibly happy with the level of academic freedom I was given to explore new topics and technologies. The passions of some of my peers inspired me to learn new programs and invest my time in emergent skills. I was shocked to be treated as an equal by many of my tutors, but excited to find many people as passionate about my industries as I am.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Some of the challenges I faced were unexpected, and others made me want to come home. But I\u2019m glad I persevered and improved my ability to live abroad. I also am happy to have taken the opportunity to travel throughout Europe during my time, I have refined my ability to live out of a backpack and could consistently find flights to Europe for under $40 AUD.<\/p>\n

The exchange coordinators at Bath Spa University were incredibly helpful and friendly, and I would certainly recommend the University. It has a gorgeous campus in the Sommerset countryside with farm animals populating the fields. Bath is also a stunningly beautiful city, and I\u2019m glad to have called it my home for the past year. Culture in the United Kingdom is hard to adjust to, it is shockingly different from Australia: something you wouldn\u2019t observe while simply visiting. I\u2019m glad to have been given this opportunity to study abroad.<\/p>\n
