QUT Centre for Justice Director, Professor Rowena Maguire, has authored a piece in The Conversation titled, “Ultra fast fashion could be taxed to oblivion in France. Could Australia follow suit?”<\/strong><\/p>\n As consumers continue to engage with ultra-fast fashion, Australia has no national policy on the textile industry, and very little is being done to address this issue – even though “we send 220,000 tones of clothes to the dump annually.”<\/em><\/p>\n “Ultra fast fashion is deeply unsustainable.
