{"id":6119,"date":"2024-05-15T17:58:20","date_gmt":"2024-05-15T07:58:20","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/blogs.qut.edu.au\/crime-and-justice-research-centre\/?p=6119"},"modified":"2024-05-15T17:58:20","modified_gmt":"2024-05-15T07:58:20","slug":"impact-victim-survivor-views-of-sexual-offender-reintegration","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.qut.edu.au\/crime-and-justice-research-centre\/2024\/05\/15\/impact-victim-survivor-views-of-sexual-offender-reintegration\/","title":{"rendered":"Impact:  Victim\/survivor views of sexual offender reintegration"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>QUT Centre for Justice members, Professor Kelly Richards, Associate Professor Jodi Death, Associate Professor Chris Emzin and Dr Michael Chataway presented their research on Victim\/Survivor views of sexual offender reintegration as part of the <strong>Courageous Conversations Towards Collective Action against Child Sexual Abuse Symposium.<\/strong> The Symposium, held in Hobart, was hosted by <strong>Tasmania\u2019s Sexual Assault Support Service<\/strong> and <strong>Laurel House<\/strong>, and aimed to inform the development of Tasmania\u2019s strategy to prevent and respond to child sexual abuse.<\/p>\n<p>This research was funded via a Criminology Research Grant and involved interviewing victims and survivors of sexual violence about their views of perpetrator interventions.
