Citation data is analysed from the Scopus dataset (the world\u2019s largest abstract and indexing database). The Journal is ranked in <strong>Law<\/strong> and <strong>Sociology and Political Science.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>In <strong>Law<\/strong>, the Journal has gone from <strong>Q2(2022) to Q1 (2023)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>In rankings by country, IJCJSD is 1<sup>st<\/sup> in Law and 1<sup>st<\/sup> in Law open access in the Pacific Region<\/p>\n<p>Internationally, IJCJSD is in the top 150 Law journals \u2013 and in the top 20 open access Law publications<\/p>\n<p>The\u00a0Journal is an open access, peer reviewed, international journal that seeks to publish critical research about common challenges confronting criminal justice systems around the world. Supported by the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.qut.edu.au\/about\/faculty-of-creative-industries-education-social-justice\/school-of-justice\">School of Justice<\/a> at QUT, the Journal is committed to cognitive justice and as such aspires to democratise knowledge, bridge global divides and encourage the voices of those on the periphery to publish with the Journal. This includes scholars from diverse Indigenous and first nations peoples communities, as well as scholars from the Global North and South committed to cognitive justice.<\/p>\n<p>The open access model used by the Journal ensures authors retain copyright and articles are licenced via <a href=\"https:\/\/creativecommons.org\/\">Creative Commons<\/a> to make published articles more readily available and useable. There are no APCs (Article Processing Charges).
