QUT Centre for Justice member, Professor Christine Morley, continues to gain impact in research around unpaid work placements – or ‘placement poverty’.<\/p>\n

As part of a research team, Professor Morley has been researching the current financial burden on students required to complete long, and mostly unpaid, social work placements<\/p>\n

Following on from previous reported impact on this issue<\/a>, Professor Morley has authored another Conversation piece titled, ‘It is impossible for me to be unpaid:\u00a0 3 ways to fix student work placements.”\u00a0<\/a> which considers possible ways to address the ongoing issue of compulsory unpaid work placements.<\/p>\n
