Hence, open access is more than just free access.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>(Open Access Australasia <a href=\"https:\/\/oaaustralasia.org\/2021\/05\/25\/what-is-open-access\/\">https:\/\/oaaustralasia.org\/2021\/05\/25\/what-is-open-access\/<\/a> )<\/p>\n<p>QUT supports the publication of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.library.qut.edu.au\/about\/collections\/qutejournals\/\">five open access journals<\/a> including the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.crimejusticejournal.com\/\"><strong><em>International Journal for Crime, Justice and Social Democracy<\/em><\/strong><\/a>, in the School of Justice.\u00a0 Content is published under a\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/creativecommons.org\/licenses\/\">Creative Commons<\/a>\u00a0Attribution Licence and there are no article processing charges (APCs) to be paid by authors. These journals are published with the support of QUT Library using the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/pkp.sfu.ca\/ojs\/\">Open Journals System (OJS)<\/a>\u00a0software.<\/p>\n<p>This year the theme of Open Access Week is <strong><em>Open for Climate Justice<\/em><\/strong> which seeks to encourage connection and collaboration among the climate movement and the international open community.<\/p>\n<p>The<strong><em> International Journal for Crime, Justice and Social Democracy<\/em><\/strong> has, to-date, published a large number of timely articles and special issues related to green criminology and climate change.<\/p>\n<p>Special issues, including:<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.crimejusticejournal.com\/issue\/view\/84\">Towards Global Green Criminological Dialogues: Voices from the Americas and Europe<\/a>.
