Details: https:\/\/www.scimagojr.com\/journalsearch.php?q=21100407545&tip=sid&clean=0<\/a><\/p>\n IJCJSD is ranked in Law<\/strong> and Sociology and Political Science.<\/strong><\/p>\n In Law, the Journal has gone from Q2(2020) to Q1 (2021)<\/strong><\/p>\n In Sociology and Political Science, the Journal stays at Q2 (as it has since 2014)<\/p>\n In Australia IJCJSD is 1st<\/sup> in Law and 1st<\/sup> in Law open access \u2013 it is also the only Q1 Law Journal is Australia<\/strong><\/p>\n Internationally IJCJSD is ranked 20th<\/sup> <\/strong>in open access journals (Law)<\/p>\n The\u00a0SCImago Journal\u00a0 Rank<\/strong>\u00a0(SJR<\/strong>) indicator is a\u00a0measure\u00a0of the scientific influence of\u00a0scholarly journals\u00a0that accounts for both the number of\u00a0citations\u00a0received by a journal and the importance or prestige of the journals where the citations come from. A journal’s SJR indicator is a numeric value representing the average number of weighted citations received during a selected year per document published in that journal during the previous three years, as indexed by\u00a0Scopus<\/a>.<\/p>\n While we recognise that rankings don\u2019t necessarily incorporate a wider set of metrics, we are always pleased by the performance of IJCJSD in this space.\u00a0 IJCJSD is an open access journal with no monetary charges to authors or readers and is solely supported by the School of Justice here at QUT. \u00a0Our editorial team continue the work of the Journal alongside their own dedication and passion for critical research in criminology.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" We are pleased to let you know that the Journal has performed well in the release of the SCImago International Journal Rankings for 2021.
