The first is a collection of papers from a virtual symposium in mid-2020: <em>Privacy and Pandemics,<\/em> which illustrate a number of ways that the realities of a global pandemic challenged different perspectives on privacy protection and the appropriate relationship with other rights and responsibilities. Included is an article from QUT Law academics Mark Burdon and Brydon Wang who\u00a0 critically examine the Australian Government\u2019s initial implementation of the COVIDSafe app.<\/p>\n<p>The second part of this issue is a selection of general articles on a variety of topics including the protection of data interests in the age of AI, the legal landscape of reproductive bio commodities in Europe, online access to legal services in India, technology as a new theology and various explorations of LawTech.<\/p>\n<p>The issue is also complimented with the inclusion of several book reviews including\u00a0 Michael D White and Aili Malm\u2019s <em>Cops, Cameras, and Crisis: The Potential and the Perils of Police Body-Worn Cameras<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Submissions are now being accepted for Volume 3, Issue 2 to be published in November 2021 <a href=\"https:\/\/lthj.qut.edu.au\/announcement\/view\/62\">https:\/\/lthj.qut.edu.au\/announcement\/view\/62<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Follow Journal announcements on Twitter <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/LawTechHum\"><strong>@LawTechHum<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>A new issue of Law, Technology and Humans has been published.
