A video recording of the event can be viewed <a href=\"https:\/\/youtu.be\/16ZkJVIUYn0\">here<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Panelists included Erika Yague, Primitivo III Ragandang, Elaine Pratley, and Mridul Upadhyay. It was facilitated by Centre for Justice members, Dr <a href=\"https:\/\/staff.qut.edu.au\/staff\/helen.berents\">Helen Berents<\/a> and Dr <a href=\"https:\/\/staff.qut.edu.au\/staff\/caitlin.mollica\">Caitlin Mollica<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Youth voices have much to offer considerations of all peace and security issues. In the Asia-Pacific, youth are taking the lead on a diverse range of issues, including climate change, development, governance, justice, violence prevention and conflict resolution. The region\u2019s large youth population and intersecting peace and security challenges means that voices from the region, particularly those of youth are essential for the continued global evolution of Youth, Peace, and Security.<\/p>\n<p>Panel contributors reflected on youth\u2019s contributions to peace throughout the Asia-Pacific.
