Renewed attention to domestic and sexual violence has led to a proliferation of different community-based programs designed to support men and boys to adopt more inclusive and respectful attitudes and behaviours. While most of these programs are positive in supporting this goal, they can differ markedly in their approach. These different approaches have different implications for social justice and social cohesion more broadly.<\/p>\n

QUT C4J member, Associate Professor Michael Flood is contributing to a two-year project examining programs for young men in Victoria. Funded through the Centre for Resilient and Inclusive Societies<\/a> at Deakin University, the study will explore the social justice implications of programs in Victoria designed to support inclusive and respectful masculinities.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
